Role Purpose Associate Director, Delivery Management ensures on-time delivery of all published services within the Unified Platform organization. This leader will operate a scalable organization that flexes as the needs dictate. The extensive delivery experience of this Associate Director with project teams executing at a high level and to standards guaranteeing project expectations are met. This role will enforce the adoption of best practices throughout their organization. It is expected of this inspirational leader to be able to drive work with precision, communicate clearly and frequently to a broad audience, and operate autonomously. As part of our team, your Key Accountabilities: Accountable for on-time delivery of all technical delivery commitments, with deep expertise on enterprise solution delivery, specifically large-scale and complex resource scheduling, forecasting, and risk mitigation. Deep expertise in a major competency (Solution, Engineering, Testing, Delivery) who can enforce industry regulatory best practices and consistency of standards use within their pods of responsibility. Experience leading geographically dispersed organizations, with direct management responsibilities or indirect management of deliverables. Chairs regular delivery planning exercises, with keen focus on release coordination, task interdependencies and critical path alignment. Acts as decision maker and escalation point-of-contact in resolving implementation impediments. Ensures team health using standard operating metrics and enforcing delivery process hygiene and adherence. Applies required resource management solutions that allow technical teams to scale at-will in response to changing expectations. Ensure seamless project handoffs through tight partnership with the Global Project Management organization. Coaches technical teams on capability and implementation best practices, with emphasis on agility, to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency. Implements financially-sound resource utilization solutions, indexed on low-cost operations and a progressive skills management framework. We would be thrilled if you bring in the below: Have hands-on experience in setting up and dramatically scaling software delivery operations in the country and/or region, preferably with experience from BIG4 consulting companies and similar organizations. Ten (10+) years of extensive project and program management experience, deploying software and/or services at a rapid quarterly pace with deep technical and hands-on experience of project and resource management tools. Eight (8+) years of combined and progressive enterprise solution delivery, software engineering and/or solution architecture experience, preferably with consulting services delivery experience. Five (5+) years of progressive and global, departmental and personnel management experience within engineering and delivery organizations of over fifteen (15+) reports. Demonstrated experience in enforcing compliance with quality strategy, standards, regulatory, and best practices for enterprise software development. Strong acumen for metrics and driving towards objective results, with extensive experience presenting information at various stakeholder levels and/or formats. Hands-on manager with a history of managing concurrent end-to-end projects and/or turnaround failing engagements with the least collateral damage. Excellence in organizational management with the ability to coach senior-level staff to manage and develop high-performance teams. Exceptional operational and business leadership skills, including change leadership and stakeholder influence abilities, can drive innovation in capital project management approaches/strategies. Possesses an innovative mindset, gained through progressive experience across industries or deep expertise in a relevant competence, that challenges the status quo and drives sustainable change across the organization.
