Should have 5 or more years of teaching experience.

Core responsibilities

• Teaching and mentoring:

  Instruct students on principles and techniques of architectural design, often through lectures, studio work, and critiques. Supervise undergraduate and graduate students and their research projects.

• Research and scholarship:

  Conduct and publish original research that advances the field of architecture. Maintain an active program of scholarly or creative activity.

• Curriculum and departmental service:

  Participate in departmental governance, help develop and revise curriculum, and contribute to the academic program's growth.

• Professional engagement:

  Engage with the architectural community, industry stakeholders, and professional organizations to establish partnerships and enhance educational opportunities.

• Course delivery:

  Design and deliver comprehensive courses, often incorporating contemporary practices, sustainability, and new technologies. Prepare course materials like syllabi, assignments, and handouts.
