Assistant Vice President, Specialist, Application Support Engineer, Technology and Operations

As a candidate for the role in Technology and Operations (T&O) at the bank, you will be responsible for understanding the overall application ecosystem deployed in banking domains related to digital assets, automation processes, core applications, infrastructure, database structure, and interfacing with upstream and downstream applications. **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead complex, cross-functional technology initiatives from initiation to successful delivery with strong project management capabilities. * Demonstrate a strong technology background in banking technology, proven leadership in project delivery, and hands-on experience with project/delivery management tools like JIRA. * Manage timelines, scope, resources, budgets, and internal business stakeholder interactions with superior communication and influencing skills. * Understand business processes and systems, prioritize end-user issues/requests, and implement large-scale projects in the banking domain. **Qualifications Required:** * Should have 12-14 years of experience in the field. * Education: Engineering Degree. * Core Competencies: Banking knowledge (Technical and Functional). * Technical/Functional Competencies: JIRA, PL/SQL, DevOps. In this role, you will work closely with IT functional and technical teams, business users, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into application design within the organizational system landscape. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal system solutions are chosen and delivered using cloud applications and infrastructure where applicable. Additionally, you will lead efforts to define, design, and maintain system solutions while ensuring data reliability, efficiency, and confidentiality in business applications. Other responsibilities include monitoring project progress, managing risks and issues, ensuring compliance with banking regulations and internal policies, managing delivery across multiple teams and vendors, and leading the production support function for the delivered application. You will also be involved in the preparation of project plans, senior management presentations, meeting minutes, and more.
