Assistant Vice President- Operational Resilience, Risk Capability Office

As an Assistant Vice President- Operational Resilience at HSBC, you will be a key player in ensuring the Wholesale Banking Control Office operates within the agreed business risk appetite and regulatory requirements. Your role will involve proactively identifying and overseeing financial and non-financial risks related to Wholesale Banking IBS. You will work closely with the Chief Control Officer Wholesale Banking, making independent decisions and recommendations to senior management. Key Responsibilities: - Support ongoing compliance of Resilience Risk Management initiatives across HBEU BSOs within WSB - Play a crucial role in the HSBC Group's strategy for Digital Transformation and Digital Channel enhancement - Work closely with Regional/Country stakeholders to protect customer and employee data and ensure compliance with Global Regulations - Operate effectively across a matrix organization, engaging with various stakeholders to support the product governance framework - Maintain and observe HSBC internal control standards and implement non-financial risk framework requirements Qualifications Required: - Relevant product knowledge with a background in Risk Management - Experience in Wholesale business environment - Good understanding of operational risk, controls, and the Operational Risk Framework - Knowledge of the changing regulatory environment in financial services - Leadership, management, and coaching skills - Proven problem-solving skills and ability to implement change effectively - Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills - Ability to build effective networks and relationships across business areas Join HSBC to make a real impact and be part of a global banking and financial services organization committed to helping people fulfill their hopes and ambitions.,
