Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Assistant Vice President to lead our Core Banking Technology and Operations team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in core banking systems and a proven track record of managing technology initiatives in the banking sector.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the core banking technology initiatives and operations.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of core banking systems.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and improve service delivery.
Analyze existing banking processes and recommend improvements or upgrades to technology solutions.
Oversee the project management lifecycle for core banking system upgrades and implementations.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in banking operations.
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff and team members.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
8-12 years of experience in core banking technology and operations management.
Strong understanding of banking systems, operations, and regulatory requirements.
Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
Experience with core banking platforms and technologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience in vendor management and negotiation.
