Role Accountability Develop and drive implementation of IT Disaster Recovery Strategy Procedures Lead Project Management for all IT Disaster Recovery related projects for New Applications Setup Enhancements and/or High Availability for current Application Landscape Ensure timely updation of Disaster Recovery Operations Framework Support IT Disaster Recovery related Assessments/Audits as and when required Establish and maintain the overall plans for executing all DR procedures and understand their interdependencies Establish and maintain the IT DR Plan Procedure document and seek approval from CTO/CIO for further approval from PPRC Develop and understand all testing necessary for a successful DR execution Work with the IT FPRs to ensure that disaster recovery plans are adequate, in place, maintained, and tested annually and are able to support the target Recovery Objectives (RTO RPO) Schedule Annual IT DR Drills (testing) for all all Mission Critical Non Mission Critical Applications Maintain the IT DR Drill Reports for the Drills conducted including a record of Issues and Learnings during the Testing Exercise and ensure risk management, mitigation, and prevention. Prepare IT Disaster Recovery cost requirements for the annual MOU and ensure adherence to the approved budget Report Disaster Recovery activities to SMTs/Leadership Conduct Disaster Recovery Trainings for concerned stakeholders as and when required Participate in Annual Business Impact Analysis (BIA) Exercise to keep a the IT BCP Call Tree Information and Critical Resources Information up to date Work with Controllership team for any Audit responses required for the IT DR Processes Ensure compliance with all DR related Regulatory requirements Oversee process documentation and compliance adherence Measures of Success Daily readiness status of DR sites to take over the complete production in case of any disaster and emergencies IT Infrastructure Project deliveries within the defined timelines and within budget Compliance with all organization policies / guidelines affecting information processing as well as compliance with legal requirements Periodic timely reporting of DR Operations as per agreed SLA Timely renewal of Vendor Service contracts Process Adherence as per MOU Technical Skills / Experience / Certifications Expertise in Compute, Storage and other IT infrastructure technologies Understanding of IT technical issues which are relevant to business continuity is essential. Knowledge of IT Infrastructure technologies (Server, Storage, Virtualization, Cloud, Backup, IT Service Management) Knowledge of Enterprise monitoring / reporting tools Well versed with ITSM Framework, Vendor Management, Team Management PMP / PRINCE II certification Understanding of ISO 27001, PCI DSS Standards Technology Certifications - MCSE/MCP/RHEL, VMware, CCNA, ITIL Expertise in more than one of the following areas: servers, networks, hardware, operating systems (Windows, Linux), Virtualization Competencies critical to the role Teamwork and Collaboration Stakeholder management Verbal and written communication Change Management Qualification BE / B Tech. in Computer Science/IT Preferred Industry NBFC / BFSI Industry / IT Operations Support
