Job Title: Assistant Team Lead - UK Accounting (Male Candidate only) Location: Mohali, India Department: Finance and Accounting Reports To: Team Lead Job Type: Full-Time Shift Timings: 2:30 PM- 11:30 PM (Swing shift) Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience Job Overview Fiducia Accounting Services is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Team Lead for our UK Accounting team. This role involves supporting the Team Lead in managing daily accounting operations, ensuring nancial accuracy, and maintaining compliance with UK standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, accounting expertise, and excellent problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities 1- Assist the Team Lead in managing and mentoring a team of accountants. 2- Oversee task allocation, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of deliverables. 3-Support performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members. 4- Ensure accurate preparation of nancial statements in compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS. 5-Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely reporting. 6-Perform variance analysis and contribute to the preparation of nancial reports. 7-Monitor compliance with UK nancial regulations and standards. 8- Coordinate with external auditors and support the audit process. 9-Assist in implementing internal controls to protect company assets. 10-Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased eiciency. 11- Utilize accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero) to streamline operations. 12-Document business processes and contribute to the development of accounting policies. 13-Collaborate with other departments to support nancial and business objectives. 14- Address accounting-related queries from internal stakeholders. 15-Oversee and support the Accounts Payable (AP) process, ensuring accurate invoice processing, 16-vendor reconciliations, and timely payments. 17-Monitor AP aging reports, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with UK nancial regulations. 18-Work closely with vendors to handle queries and maintain strong vendor relationships. 19-Ensure proper documentation and approvals for all AP transactions. Qualifications: 1. Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting (B.COM), Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA) is preferred. 2. Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years of accounting experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or senior accountant role. KPO experience is preferred. 3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. 4. Knowledge: Strong understanding of UK GAAP/IFRS and UK tax regulations is a plus. 5. Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. High attention to detail and organizational skills. 6-Eligibilitty- Only Male candidate 7 .
