Job Title: Assistant Team Lead – Full Stack (Backend Developer)

Key Responsibilities

* Lead backend architecture and development, driving the design, implementation, and optimization of high-performance server-side applications using Node.js.

* Build reliable RESTful APIs, authentication systems, data pipelines, and integrations with third-party services.

* Design scalable database schemas, write optimized queries, and manage MySQL and MongoDB with an emphasis on data integrity, indexing, and performance.

* Maintain and enhance Linux-based environments, leveraging shell scripting, system-level monitoring, logging, and debugging tools.

* Implement backend security best practices, including access control, input validation, and secure deployment workflows.

* Collaborate with the team to plan architecture, estimate project scope, and ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

* Conduct detailed code reviews with a focus on backend quality, maintainability, and reliability.

* Troubleshoot complex issues across the system stack—application logic, databases, OS-level behavior, and network flows.

* Contribute to DevOps workflows, helping refine CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and containerized environments.

* Contribute to front-end features when needed using React.js and Electron.js, with emphasis on integration rather than UI-heavy work.

* Mentor junior developers, guide task breakdowns, and support sound engineering decisions.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

* Around 4 years of professional experience, with strong emphasis on backend development.

* Deep hands-on expertise in Node.js, Express.js, backend patterns, asynchronous programming, and API development.

* Strong command of MySQL and MongoDB, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.

* Solid Linux experience—file systems, permissions, process management, shell scripting, package management, and environment configuration.

* Familiarity with C, C++, or Python for automation, low-level tasks, or system utilities.

* Working knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and ability to collaborate on UI integration using React/Electron.

* Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex architectural and system-level problems.

* Demonstrated leadership capability—mentoring, reviewing, and guiding a development team.

Preferred Skills

* Experience with Git and modern branching strategies.

* Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated deployments.

* Familiarity with Docker or containerization concepts.

* Exposure to Agile or iterative development practices.
