Assistant Surveyor

Job Description

Assisting with setting up and using surveying equipment (e.g., total stations, GPS, levels). Taking measurements, recording data, and ensuring accuracy. Marking distances and placing stakes in designated areas. Assisting with topographical surveys and mapping. Learning surveying procedures and techniques. Understanding and applying relevant regulations and standards. Participating in training programs and workshops. Assisting with the preparation of survey sites. Maintaining and cleaning surveying equipment. Following safety protocols and procedures. Skills and Qualifications: Education : High school diploma or equivalent is typically required; a diploma or degree in surveying, civil engineering, or a related field is a plus. Skills: Basic knowledge of surveying principles and procedures. Familiarity with surveying equipment and software. Good observation and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
