To ensure supplier components (mechanical, electrical, and electronic) meet the companys quality standards through proactive supplier audits, incoming quality control, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct supplier process audits and approve new vendors for EV components (mechanical & electrical).
• Ensure incoming part quality through inspection standards, sampling plans, and defect analysis.
• Layout planning for inspection, GTND, Quality Management, TPM approaches.
• Drive supplier corrective actions (8D, CAPA, Poka-Yoke implementation).
• Validate PPAP / APQP documents and ensure supplier readiness for new product launches.
• Monitor supplier performance through PPM, delivery, and quality trend analysis.
• Work closely with sourcing, development, and manufacturing teams to enhance supplier capability.
• Implement cost-of-poor-quality reduction programs at supplier end.
• Diploma / B.E. – Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in 2-Wheeler industry ( EV ) supplier quality.
• Strong knowledge of EV aggregates – motor, controller, battery, harness, chassis, suspension, etc.
• Familiar with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, 8D tools.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Strong sense of ownership and teamwork.
• Exposure to EV technology preferred.
• Hands-on experience in root cause analysis and continuous improvement tools
