Job Description

NVP Law College is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Professor to join its faculty and contribute to high-quality legal education, research, and institutional development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong subject knowledge, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to mentoring future legal professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and well-structured lectures in assigned law subjects such as Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Corporate Law, Procedural Laws, or other specialization areas.
• Prepare lesson plans, course materials, case studies, and academic assessments.
• Guide students in academic research, moot courts, internships, and career development activities.
• Conduct internal assessments, evaluate assignments, and maintain academic records.
• Participate actively in curriculum development and departmental activities.
• Contribute to academic research, publications, seminars, and conferences.
• Assist in organizing co-curricular and extracurricular activities such as legal aid camps, workshops, and guest lectures.
• Maintain discipline, uphold institutional values, and support the administrative functioning of the college.

Qualifications

• LL.M. with a strong academic record (UGC norms preferred).
• NET/SET qualification is desirable.
• Prior teaching or research experience is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills, classroom management, and academic leadership abilities.

Pay: ₹20,312.32 - ₹40,000.00 per month
