SRMIST is looking for Asst. Professor Teaching: Instruct undergraduate and/or graduate students in various courses within their field of expertise. Research: Conduct original research, publish scholarly articles, and contribute to the academic discourse within their discipline. Advising: Advise and mentor students, particularly those pursuing research projects or theses. Professional Development: Engage in professional development to stay current with advancements in their field. Grant Writing: Seek research grants and funding to support their research projects. Service: Participate in departmental, college, or university committees, as well as engage with the broader academic community. Tenure Process: Work toward achieving tenure by meeting specific criteria, which typically include demonstrating excellence in teaching, research, and service.
