Our Computer Applications Department is expanding, and we are looking for passionate and qualified teaching faculty to join our team. Roles and Responsibilities: Instruction and Curriculum Development: Deliver engaging and comprehensive lectures in Computer Applications, including programming languages, software development, and database management. Design, develop, and update curriculum and instructional materials to meet educational standards and industry requirements. Create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment. Student Engagement and Assessment: Conduct practical lab sessions and tutorials to complement theoretical instruction. Develop and administer assessments, including assignments, exams, and projects, to evaluate student performance and understanding. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their academic progress. Academic Support and Mentorship: Offer academic advising and mentorship to students, guiding them on their educational and career paths. Assist students with academic challenges and provide support to help them achieve their goals. Professional Development and Scholarly Activities: Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in computer science and educational practices. Participate in research activities, contribute to publications, and attend relevant conferences and workshops. Institutional Involvement: Participate in departmental meetings, contribute to the development of departmental policies, and collaborate with colleagues on academic projects. Engage in institutional activities, including committees, workshops, and community outreach programs. Qualifications: Essential: Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications (BCA) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science/IT. Masters degree in Computer Applications (MCA) or Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Computer Science/IT preferred. Experience: 1 to 5 years of teaching experience in Computer Applications or a related field. Skills and Competencies: In-depth knowledge of computer applications, programming languages, and software development practices. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively engage and motivate students. Proficiency in utilizing educational technology and tools. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
