What You'll Do: - Manage day-to-day on-ground operations efficiently. - Coordinate with local teams, vendors, and partners to ensure smooth execution. - Identify and resolve operational challenges proactively. - Monitor and analyze data to drive improvements in operations. - Represent Chalo's values and commitment to the on ground teams. Must Have: - Stakeholder Management - How to deal with government and built relationship. - Data Orientation - ability to interpret large sets of data. - Excellent People management skills. - Ability to prioritize - Plan, deploy resources efficiently: prioritize multiple operations in field and know which one to focus on. - Proven track record of chasing and delivering a target. - Process Adherence: Ability to create processes and see to it that they are implemented across the team. Good to have: - Ability to work long and odd hours. Flexible (and should have done) to be in field early morning, late nights and for long hours in the bus. - Problem solving skills - Crisis management and operational problems. - Proven track record of operator/small business owner management and experience. - Conversational Fluency in Local Language - Preferred. - Attention to detail - doesn't miss out on small details, asks probing questions to understand under- lying issues and go deeper into the problem. - Self-motivated/proactive - acts without being told what to do. - Adaptable and Agile - ability to stay flexible and cope effectively with change.
