Assist in translating design concepts into viable product development plans. Material and Supplier Coordination: Source and evaluate potential suppliers and manufacturers for materials and components. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality materials for product development. Sample Development: Work closely with the production and design teams to develop prototypes and samples. Ensure samples meet design specifications and quality standards. Costing and Budgeting: Assist in preparing cost estimates for product development. Monitor and manage budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness. Timeline Management: Develop and maintain project timelines for product development. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of tasks. Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality control teams to establish and maintain quality standards. Conduct inspections and quality checks throughout the development process. Communication and Documentation: Act as a liaison between various departments, including design, production, and quality control. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to product development. Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market demands. Provide insights and recommendations based on market research. Preferred candidate profile Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising or related field preferred. Prior experience in women's wear merchandising or garment manufacturing Strong organizational and communication skills, detail-oriented, and proficient in MS Office.
