Assistant Manager - Warehouse Operations

Role Overview: As a Sr Executive/Assistant Manager - Warehouse at Mundra, your primary responsibility will be to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations. You will be in charge of managing inbound and outbound logistics, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Collaboration with various teams such as procurement, transportation, and customer service is crucial for the efficient functioning of the warehouse. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, dispatch, and inventory management. - Manage a team of warehouse executives, operators, and support staff to ensure timely and accurate dispatches and receipts. - Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. - Conduct regular audits to maintain accurate inventory levels. - Implement lean warehousing practices to optimize space utility and enhance efficiency. - Coordinate with transporters and logistics providers for on-time dispatch and delivery. - Collaborate with internal departments like procurement, planning, and sales to align warehouse activities with business needs. - Implement and oversee the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for accurate documentation and real-time updates. - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, turnaround time, inventory variance, and productivity to assess performance and identify areas for enhancement. - Prepare and present reports on warehouse metrics and budget utilization to the management. Qualification Required: - Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. - MBA/PGDM in Operations or Logistics is preferred. Additional Company Details: N/A,
