Job Description Function Accounts & Finance Job Role Team Member Manager/Assistant Manager Designation Location Reporting Authority Financial Controller Mumbai Job Purpose The role holder would be responsible for Accounting & Financial activities of the company Play a pivotal role in achieving companys's long-term financial strategy & overall business objectives Job Description 1. Preparation of monthly/ quarterly/ half yearly/ yearly Financial Statements 2. Manage timely and effective closure of books of account on monthly basis in line with applicable Accounting Standards 3. Good understanding of RBI regulation applicable for Banks & Business correspondent and other relevant regulations 4. Good understanding & knowledge of GST / TDS / Income tax rules, guidelines & its implications 5. Provide all the necessary details and documents to auditors and coordinate with auditors for closure of Statutory Audit, internal Audit for all accounting matters and financial statements. Ensure that audits are concluded as per the timelines through proactively resolving issues (by conducting discussions with stakeholders, escalating to senior management if required etc.) 6. Manage internal financial controls, entity level controls, Balance sheet controls and required reconciliations 7. Drive simplification in finance processes by identifying areas of improvement on continuous basis, provide effective solution and ensure timely implementation 8. Assist in annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting activities. Work closely with department heads to establish budgetary targets, monitor performance against budget, and provide insights to support decision-making 9. Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to evaluate business performance, identify trends, and highlight areas for improvement. Prepare monthly performance including review of key financial and operating metrics for senior management review 10. Ensure transparency, accuracy, and relevance of financial information provided to support decision-making processes 11. Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments including Businesses, Human Resources, Accounting, Sales to drive alignment and ensure financial objectives are met Skills Required 1. Sound knowledge of applicable Accounting Standards, Accounting operations, Financial control, risk management (3-4 years) 2. Experience in monthly book closure activity 3. Proficiency in excel, SAP and power point skills with attention to detail 4. Strong financial acumen and analytical skills 5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders 6. Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and formulate solutions to problems 7. Team worker and self-learner with ability to work in a dynamic environment 8. Ability to work and deliver under strict timelines and work long hours Qualification - - Chartered Accountant - Fresher or 1 year experience MBA in Finance or Commerce Graduate with 3-4 years experience Compensation: As per Company Policy
