Location: Kolkata Reports to: Trade Marketing Manager Job Summary: We are looking for an Assistant Manager - Trade Marketing who will support the Trade Marketing Manager in developing and executing trade marketing strategies to drive brand visibility, enhance product distribution, and boost sales performance within the biscuits category. This role will be crucial in bridging the gap between marketing and sales, ensuring alignment of trade promotions, and optimizing the in-store presence of our products. Key Responsibilities: 1. Trade Marketing Strategy: Assist in developing trade marketing plans aligned with overall business goals and brand strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement trade initiatives, product launches, and promotional activities. 2. Channel Management: Work closely with sales teams to identify and prioritize key retail and distribution channels. Customize trade marketing plans according to channel dynamics and consumer behavior in each market segment. 3. Promotion and Activation: Plan and execute promotional campaigns, including point-of-sale materials, displays, and in-store events to drive product visibility and sales. Track and evaluate the effectiveness of promotions to optimize future activities. 4. Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Generate reports on trade marketing performance and provide actionable insights. 5. Budget Management: Assist in managing the trade marketing budget effectively to maximize return on investment. Ensure all campaigns and promotions are executed within budget. 6. Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution of trade programs. Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers and distributors to support product placement and promotions.
