Job Description

Support the QA Manager in leading, mentoring, and managing a team of 4-5 QA engineers. Assist in defining and implementing robust QA processes, test strategies, and automation frameworks. Collaborate with engineering, product management, and customer support teams to ensure seamless product delivery and high-quality releases. Assist in overseeing the creation and execution of comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Contribute to test automation efforts to improve test coverage and efficiency. Monitor and track quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts. Provide regular feedback and career development guidance to team members. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives in an Agile environment. Identify and help mitigate risks related to software quality, ensuring best practices are followed across the engineering team. Required Skills Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including 1+ years in a leadership or assistant managerial role. Experience working with SaaS products, understanding the unique challenges and requirements of SaaS environments. Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies. Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium) and scripting languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, or Ruby). Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) and bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla). Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical issues effectively.
