Job Description

Role & responsibilities Health, Safety, And Environment Identifying Unsafe Acts / Conditions & Near-Miss Incidents at workplace to minimize potential of Accidents. Health & Safety related Improvement Initiatives. To ensure compliance of Industrial Safety & Health related Legal Requirements. To ensure Compliance of Pollution Control Board Related Legal Requirements. Accident Reporting, Investigation & Follow-up for Corrective actions. Conducting Safety / HSE Committee Meetings & Preparing MOM. Emergency Preparedness Planning, Team Organization, Arrangements, Rehearsals, etc. Workplace & Surrounding Environment Monitoring (Air, Water, Noise, Illumination, Workplace, etc.) Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment Activity at Workplace. Conduct Safety Inspections of Machines / Equipements in Plant. Implementation & Monitoring of Safety Work Permit System. To Carry out 5S & Safety evaluation & prepare score card. To plan & conduct Health & Safety training as per workplace needs for improving Health & Safety Awareness. To prepare Monthly Dashboard / MIS for management review. Internal Auditor for QMS (ISO 9001:2008) and HSE (EMS ISO 14001:2004 & OHSAS 18001:2007), also have worked on ISO 45001:2018 standard. Celebration of National Safety Week, Road Safety Week, Fire Service Day, Environment Day, etc. to get involvement of employees. Ensure Compliance of CPCB-EPR requirements (Plastic Waste Management Rules) Fire Safety Identifying Fire Hazards at workplace and make Fire Safety arrangement. Ensure Inspection, maintenance and up-keeping of the Fire Fighting Equipements like Fire Extinguishers & Buckets, Fire Hydrant System, Fire Monitors, etc. Fire Fighting Training & Response Team Management. Monitoring and ensuring compliance of Fire NOC. Compliance of guidelines of Chief Fire Officer (Govt.)
