Job Description

Basic Overview of Job: Responsible for the development and increase in related sales activities in the assigned market. Directs the sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base within the assigned location Contributes to the training and educational programs. Primary Responsibility Areas: A) Increasing business avenues Develop a business plan and sales strategy based on sales target company goals and profitability. Prepare action plans for individuals as well as for the sales team by effective search of sales leads and prospects. Initiate and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets. Follow up on new leads and referrals from field activity. Make every effort to maximize both present and long term sales and gross profits. Cross-selling B) Coordinating • Assists & also participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events. At the beginning of each month, establish realistic sales objectives and action plan for the sales for the month. Follow-up for collection of payment. Ensure that the sales floor operations functions smoothly. Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate department / personnel in the organization. Prepare in advance and conduct regular sales meetings C) Enhance client database Handle, Identify and resolve client concerns in a timely manner. Identify new and prospective clients. D) Pricing: Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all proposals submitted for approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin. Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales and activity reports. E) Adhering to company norms and standards Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes Ensures that all the standards are communicated and implemented within the team. F) Internal / External Cooperation Ensures that all Sales Executives meet or exceed the set standards and targets for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals etc. Set examples for Sales Executives in areas of commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits. Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
