JOB SUMMARY: This position will play a critical role in monitoring and ensuring compliance with EASA Part 145 and DGCA CAR 145 regulations. The primary responsibilities include overseeing the authorization process, conducting evaluations, and managing the list of certifying staff. This role is crucial in maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety within the Engine MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) facility. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with EASA Part 145 and DGCA CAR 145 regulations. Stay updated with changes in regulations and implement necessary changes within the department. Certifying Staff Management: Oversee the authorization process for certifying staff. Evaluate and monitor the performance and competencies of certifying staff. Maintain and update the list of certifying staff in accordance with regulatory requirements. Quality Assurance: Conduct internal audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards. Monitor and report on quality performance and identify areas for improvement. Assist in the development and implementation of quality management systems and procedures. Documentation and Records: Ensure accurate documentation and maintenance of records as required by regulatory bodies and company policies. Assist in the preparation and review of quality-related documentation, including manuals and procedures. Training and Development: Identify training needs for certifying staff and coordinate training programs. Coordination and Communication: Act as a liaison between different departments to ensure smooth quality operations. Communicate effectively with regulatory authorities during audits and inspections. Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions. Participate in quality improvement projects and initiatives. Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Minimum of [9] years of experience in Quality Assurance within the Aviation MRO industry. In-depth knowledge of EASA Part 145 and DGCA CAR 145 regulations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in quality management systems and auditing techniques. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Relevant certifications in Quality Management or Aviation Maintenance are preferred. Perks and benefits As per company standards
