Job Overview: Electrica Engineers Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Manager for the Quality Department . The ideal candidate will assist in developing and implementing quality strategies, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving continuous improvement across our products and processes. The Assistant Manager will also play a key role in Customer Support, Quality Audits (Internal and External) , and maintaining the Company's Quality Management System (QMS). Key Responsibilities: Develop and Implement Quality Management Systems (QMS): Design and implement robust QMS to ensure product quality, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. Conduct Regular Audits: Perform internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality standards, industry regulations, and customer requirements. Identify and Resolve Quality Issues: Quickly identify quality issues or non-conformances, and take immediate corrective actions to ensure timely resolution and minimal production impact. Training and Development: Provide training to team members and other departments on quality standards, processes, and procedures to foster a quality-conscious workforce. Drive Continuous Improvement: Champion continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing processes, enhancing product quality, and driving operational efficiency. Manage Customer Complaints and Feedback: Handle customer complaints with a focus on root cause analysis and effective resolution, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term relationships. Corrective Actions: Ensure corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are implemented promptly and effectively to prevent recurrence of quality issues. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with various departments such as Production, R&D, and Supply Chain to uphold and improve quality standards across all processes. Prepare and Present Quality Reports: Regularly compile and present comprehensive quality reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, audit findings, and improvement activities. Monitor and Analyze Quality Metrics: Continuously monitor and evaluate quality performance metrics to ensure targets are met and identify areas for further improvement. Maintain Quality Documentation: Develop, maintain, and update quality documentation, including procedures, standards, audit reports, and corrective action logs. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, certifications, and standards (e.g., ISO, VDA 6.3) and prepare for audits. Lead and Motivate the Quality Team: Lead the quality assurance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to maintain high standards of quality. Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions: Lead root cause analysis for quality issues, implement corrective actions, and follow through to ensure issues are effectively addressed. Implement Best Practices in Quality Assurance: Establish and promote best practices in quality assurance to improve overall product quality and operational efficiency. Manage Quality Control Processes: Oversee quality control processes across production and supply chains, ensuring consistent product quality and adherence to quality standards. Ensure Customer Satisfaction: Ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services that meet customer expectations and comply with all relevant quality standards. Resolve quality issues, and implement corrective actions. Desired Qualifications: Education: Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Engineering (preferably in E&TC or Mechanical ). Experience: Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in Electronics Assembly or related fields with a strong focus on Quality Management . Proven track record in conducting Quality Audits , implementing corrective actions, and managing Customer complaints . Key Skills: Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, perform root cause analysis, and resolve quality issues. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify quality challenges and develop effective solutions. Team Leadership: Proven experience leading and motivating quality teams to meet goals. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams and customers. Regulatory Compliance: In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., VDA 6.3 certification). Root Cause Analysis: Expertise in conducting root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions. Continuous Improvement: Focused on driving continuous improvement through process optimization and quality initiatives. Training Development: Experience developing and delivering quality training programs for internal teams. Customer Complaint Management: Experience managing customer complaints, ensuring timely resolutions and customer satisfaction. Quality Audits: Experience conducting or managing quality audits (including VDA 6.3 Certification). Documentation: Expertise in maintaining and updating quality-related documentation and reports.
