Assistant Manager - Quality Assurance

Job Description

Job Description : 1. Quality Control & Inspection: o Assist in overseeing the inspection of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products. o Monitor adherence to quality standards during each stage of production. o Conduct regular quality checks on production lines to identify defects and deviations from standards. o Ensure that products meet customer specifications and industry regulations. 2. Quality Documentation & Reporting: o Help maintain accurate records of quality inspections, test results, and corrective actions. o Prepare and present regular reports on quality metrics and performance to the Quality Manager and other senior management. o Assist in the documentation of product quality standards, policies, and procedures. 3. Process Improvement: o Assist in the identification of process inefficiencies and suggest improvements for quality assurance systems. o Work with cross-functional teams(production, design, and supply chain) to implement best practices for quality control and reduce defects. o Participate in root cause analysis of quality failures and help develop corrective and preventive actions. 4. Training and Development: o Support in training production staff on quality standards and procedures. o Help foster a quality-conscious culture within the production and design teams. o Coordinate with the Quality Manager to develop training materials and ensure ongoing education for staff. 5. Supplier Management: o Assist in evaluating and monitoring the performance ofsuppliers regarding quality assurance. o Help resolve quality-related issues with suppliers and maintain strong relationships to ensure high-quality raw materials and components. 6. Product Testing: o Assist in coordinating product testing for wear, durability, and safety in accordance with industry standards. o Ensure that samples undergo required tests before mass production begins. 7. Compliance & Audits: o Assist in preparing for and conducting internal and external quality audits. 8. Collaboration & Communication: o Work closely with design, production, and logisticsteamsto ensure that quality requirements are understood and met. o Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and third-party quality assurance teams.
