Assist the Pharmacy Manager in the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including prescription fulfillment, inventory management, and customer service
Supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support personnel, and provide guidance, support, and performance feedback
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing pharmacy operations, including dispensing practices, record-keeping, and controlled substance management
Oversee the processing and dispensing of prescriptions accurately and efficiently, while adhering to all relevant safety protocols and quality standards
Monitor inventory levels, order medications and supplies as needed, and manage medication recalls and returns in accordance with established procedures
Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to resolve prescription-related issues, coordinate patient care, and optimize medication therapy outcomes
Provide counseling and education to patients regarding medication use, potential side effects, drug interactions, and other relevant information
