Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Process Management:

    • Must have worked in e-commerce companies /start-ups.
    • Oversee the entire O2C process, from order initiation to cash collection.
    • Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders and payments.
    • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Should have experience of performing order to cash reconciliation with payment gateways, courier partners, banks, net-banking and UPI payment mechanisms.
    • Must have performed customer confirmations and related reconciliations.
  • Team Leadership:

    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of order management and cash collection professionals.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Client Relations:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders.
    • Resolve any disputes or issues promptly and effectively.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:

    • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with the O2C process and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Reporting and Analysis:

    • Prepare and present regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
    • Collaborate with other departments to align strategies and achieve business goals.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Education:

    • Bachelors degree in Finance / Advanced degree (MBA) / Post Graduation / CA – Inter completed personnel
  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
    • Proven track record of managing O2C processes in a complex organization.
  • Skills:

    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
    • Proficient in using ERP systems and procurement software.
    • Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
