Position Overview

Indirect Tax / GST Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual

  GST returns

  (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, etc.).
• Perform detailed

  GST reconciliations

  between books, GSTR-2A/2B, and GSTR-3B.
• Handle

  GST compliance and reporting

  in coordination with internal teams and external consultants.
• Review vendor GST compliance and ensure timely input tax credit (ITC) availment.
• Manage and respond to

  GST notices, assessments, and audits

  .
• Ensure accurate documentation and timely maintenance of all GST-related records.
• Stay updated on changes in GST law and ensure their smooth implementation.
• Coordinate with statutory auditors and government authorities as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

• Semi-Qualified CA

  with 3–6 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of GST laws, rules, and return filing processes.
• Experience in handling

  GST audits, reconciliations, and departmental correspondence

  .
• Proficiency in

  Excel, GST softwares and accounting/ERP systems (SAP, Tally, etc.)

  .
• Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of other accounting functions will be an added advantage.
