Job Description

Role & Responsibilities Manage the payroll process including inputs and ensure process runs smoothly and efficiently without errors every month as per laid down calendar. Liaise with finance to ensure correct taxation and upload of salaries to bank. Undertake payroll responsibility of Work with HRIS and Payroll to plan the process. Assist in implementing and administering benefit programs, including medical, insurance, workers compensation, employee assistance, retirement and other plans Manage the entire employee life cycle including transfers and separation including employee records, statutory payment records. Responding promptly to employee inquiries and concerns regarding their payroll Generating payroll reports, such as payroll summaries, tax reports, and labor cost analyses Assisting in payroll tax calculations, deductions, and submissions to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations Supporting the implementation and integration of new payroll systems or upgrades Staying updated with the latest payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor standards Coordinate for CSR activities including planning, execution and final reporting Coordinate Monthly HR MIS reporting Mainly individual contributor. Qualification & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field, Master’s degree strongly preferred and 7-9 years of HR generalist (Payroll & Compliance) or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Experience with job evaluation tools, knowledge of Mercer’s IPE a plus Excellent analytical and technical skills including expertise in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and HRIS. Strong communication skills with professionals at all levels in a fast-paced environment and the ability to maintain confidentiality of all employee information Ability to develop positive working relationships with both internal and external vendors and customers. Previous experience with a global organization preferred
