Assistant Manager - Health & Safety

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and compliant sites for the business, with a specific focus on Fire and Life Safety aspects in accordance with regulations and FK standards. Your critical role will involve enhancing the safety culture and operational Health & Safety compliance across the organization. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage specialized areas such as Powered Industrial Truck safety, Dock safety, warehouse safety management - Drive continuous improvement through the My Safety Index - Assist in new site selection by coordinating Right Start Assessment and ensuring closure of NC observations - Handle Rack safety compliance program and new projects like Solar/EV charging stations, Machine Safety monitoring program, and Lithium ion Battery compliance - Focus on PIT Safety, Dock Safety, Fire & Electrical Safety, and Machine Safety - Drive the My Safety Index, conduct timely accident investigations, and organize safety campaigns **Qualifications Required:** - Knowledge of Health & Safety regulatory requirements, including Fire code requirements and National Building Code - Understanding of Automation and Rack system compliance - Strong Stakeholder connections This role will offer you the opportunity to play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and compliance of Flipkart facilities, driving safety awareness, and promoting a safe workplace environment.,
