Job Description

The hire will be responsible for working on technical related initiatives centered around a Microsoft Dynamics 365 application, which will include implementing commonly requested changes within Dynamics 365, assisting with the integration of the Dynamics 365 app with other applications within the firm, and preparing key data to be used in reports and dashboards used by members of the firm at all levels. High level expertise in administering, configuring, and customizing Dynamics 365 environments, which includes but is not limited to the following: o Prepare and deploy unmanaged solutions across environments o Create and configure custom tables, fields, forms, views, relationships, business rules, charts, and dashboards o Configure model driven apps, sitemaps, and duplicate detection rules o Develop complex HTML, CSS, Jscript, and XML web resources o Utilize and edit FetchXML, Web API, REST, and OData to query data from Dataverse o Perform QA, execute UAT scripts, and fix defects o Manage user level security through security roles, field security profiles, teams, and business units o Build out of the box processes (workflows, actions, business process flows) o Familiar with using tools available in the XrmToolBox o Work efficiently with Microsoft Support, other team members, and end users to troubleshoot and resolve issues o Pull and review audit history to understand how a change occurred Experienced with the Power Platform o Power BI - Create reports and dashboards with various data sources, publish to the web service, and set up user access by sharing reports and setting up row level security o PowerApps - Create both stand alone and embedded canvas apps that interact with Dataverse, SQL, SharePoint, and other applications o Power Automate - Create scheduled, instant, and automated flows to execute processes across different platforms Proficient with SQL Server o Create user defined and temp tables via a SQL statement o Have the ability to create and update simple to very complex views o Optimize queries by creating and maintaining only the necessary indexes o Create and execute stored procedures and functions High aptitude to learn and solve problems, both on their own or with a team General knowledge on how to use Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, macros) LIKE TO HAVE SKILLS C# for Dynamics 365 plugin development or another object oriented programming language Experience in utilizing ETL tools Create SSRS based reports Create technical documentation Track issues in a tool such as Azure Dev Ops Use Visio or another application to create data flow diagrams Use Postman to execute API calls Use GitHub for version control of development code Use Jupyter Notebook, Databricks or something similar Use Azure Synapse Analytics
