Assistant Manager - Financial Reporting (R2R)

Job Description

Lead a Team of 2 people and responsible for the P2P, RTR and Control function in a multi product, multi segment business spread across multiple plants. Responsible for: P2P , R2R and Compliance: Ensure Ontime Payment for All Import Vendors and Ensure timely accounting and clearing of Import Vendor Ledger (Both Group & Non Group) for CI As a whole (P2P). Controlling and reviewing Credit Card Accounting and CONCUR approval including F&F process in line with the Travel & Expense Policy Issued by Coats (Compliance). Ensure Bank charges are accounted on time and work with Banks for automation and simplification of process. (R2R). Controlling Fixed assets Accounting , Disposal, Write off , Asset Tagging and work with business to achieve this. (R2R). Drive automation in P2P and R2R to bring in process efficiencies. Supply Chain Controlling including Critical Review of Freight and C&F Charges and work with Logistics team to bring in cost control and cost reduction in these areas. (R2R) Manufacturing Business Partnering by working closely with manufacturing team on the conversion cost movement, highlight areas for cost savings opportunities on a regular and a structured basis. (R2R). Maintain a clear data base for all agreements across all locations and ensure regular follow up for renewal / changes if any. (Compliance) Strategic Decision Support: Assist senior management in strategic decision-making. Evaluate investment proposals and capital expenditure decisions. Monitor financial performance against targets. Provide insights into variances and trends on conversion costs Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial efficiency. Desired Profile First attempt CA with 2-3 years post qualification experience. Able to understand the manufacturing operations - having turnover of Rs 1000 cr or above in India including BOM & Routing insights. Big 4 experience preferred Wishlist from A&E i.e Vardhaman Yarns and Threads. Strong analytical skills Good oral and written communication and good presentation skills Strong interpersonal skills and able to collaborate effectively with other Teams able to bring out the story behind the numbers.
