Position Purpose The jobholder will be a part of the Strategic Monitoring & Reporting team (SMR) with global mission to monitor and foster divisional performance for CIB. The role will require him/her to act as business partner for business and support the business strategic steering. He/ She will be primarily responsible for ensuring accurate and timely submission reporting to the Group by liaising with domains within CIB (GB, 2S and GM), ALMT, FRESH, local Performance Steering teams and other poles. He/ She will also be responsible for steering the Other CIB P&L by liaising with the local performance management teams and HO Performance Steering teams. He/ She will also work on the closing process (Flash/Actuals/Forecast/Budget) supporting business finance teams in respect of group instructions/processes.

Direct Responsibilities
Monitoring & Fostering Performance by
- Continuous monitoring of financials (results, costs, headcount, capital, balance sheet) of the division and ensuring timely and accurate submission from Perseus CIB to Perseus Group for Actuals (monthly), Forecasting (quarterly) and Budgeting (annual)
- Extensive analysis, review and reporting of Net Banking Income for SALM, Equity related P&L reported on Other CIB, Income on Equity, Non-Operating Revenue, Rotules (ALMT and Non ALMT)
- Ensuring timely and accurate reporting of divisional perimeter and scope effect
- Business partnering with key stakeholders on a regular basis & monthly review with HO to discuss business performance
- Back testing of Forecast and liaising with local teams/business to improve the forecasting model
- Monitoring of business line Treasury ALM results
- Control/review and submitting ECB STE Reporting to the Group.
- Alerting the Performance Steering HO/CFOs in case of any issues/challenges
- Performing and reviewing the Budget and Planning exercises with Performance HO/CFOs
- Promoting and implementation of Finance projects (new systems, procedures, standards/regulations)

- Drive to value-add with enhanced analysis and commentaries for steering performance

Technical & Behavioral Competencies - Relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in banking or global financial services company
- Sound knowledge of Banking and Corporate Banking business & products
- Knowledge of management accounting concepts
- Understanding of NPL, RWA, Liquidity topics will be good to have
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel
- (Formulae, pivot tables, charts, graphs, power query, etc.)
- Good working knowledge of MS Power Point
- Excellent PC skills, ability to learn new systems quickly
