Job Description

We are looking for a skilled finance professional with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our team as an Assistant Manager Finance in Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Roles and Responsibility

Support the team with Accounts payable and Receivable.
Prepare daily Bank Reconciliation Statements.
Manage data and ensure book closure for audit/monthly closures.
Liaise with cross-functional teams for invoicing and reconciliations.
Assist the treasury team with functional activities.
Analyze financial outlooks and prepare forecasts.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.
Direct financial audits and conduct regular checks on purchasing, receiving, storing, issuing, food preparing, and portioning procedures.

Job Requirements

An educational background in commerce or a related field is required.
Possess working knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft Suite.
Demonstrate the ability to work independently on assigned duties with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Exhibit knowledge of financial auditing and compliance.
Show proficiency in financial analysis and forecasting.
Have experience in managing data and ensuring book closure for audit/monthly closures.
