Job Description

As an Assistant Manager Facilities at CBRE, you will be responsible for a combination of advanced facilities work in regulated spaces. Your role will focus on managing painting and patchwork projects, major repairs of architectural items, cabinets, doors, and windows, as well as directing the installation of various items like shelving, tank holders, and coat hooks. You will serve as the point of contact for front-line clients on various requests and coordinate with trades personnel on maintenance tasks, both corrective and preventative. Your work will impact the quality of your own work and that of others on the team, and you will lead by example, adhering to CBRE RISE values. Key Responsibilities: - Manage painting and patchwork projects. - Perform major repairs of architectural items, cabinets, doors, and windows. - Direct the installation of shelving, tank holders, paper towel racks, coat hooks, and various items. - Serve as the point of contact for front-line clients on various requests. - Coordinate with trades personnel on maintenance tasks, both corrective and preventative. - Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems. - Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values. - Impact the quality of your work and the work of others on the team. - Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. - Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. - Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems. - Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedent. - In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. - Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset. - Advanced math skills, including the ability to calculate complicated figures like percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.,
