Job Description

Responsibilities: Lead the maintenance department related function- mechanical, electrical, instrumental. Maintaining the safe working practices and procedures in the department. Prepare and implement preventive maintenance schedule of the equipment and coordinate with production. People management and project management capability to track and to ensure timely completion of the project. Project Management for projects, new or modifications. Hands on experience in preventive maintenance, Predictive maintenance, running maintenance, shut down maintenance, breakdown maintenance and annual turn around job static and rotating as well as packaged equipments Developing vendors. Spare parts planning, standardization and indigenization & inventory control of spares along with sourcing and development of new parts. Local/ alternate vendor development for regularly required parts. Exposure in utilities like boiler, air compressor, cooling tower. Prepare monthly, yearly maintenance budget and annual turn around budget and maintain within the allocated budget. Reducing the spare and repair costs. Prepare reports, analyses data and make recommendations for improving and solving maintenance related problems. ISO standards implementation and documents control Manpower and contractor control Statutory Compliance for Engineering departments Education & Experience Competencies BE/ B.Tech / in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Experience in a large Paint / chemical manufacturing unit.
