Job Description

As an Engine Maintenance Operations Manager at Safran Aircraft Engines, your role involves having a complete vision of the engine maintenance operations flow and making decisions and taking actions necessary to fulfill commitments to customers and the shop's production planning. You will be responsible for reporting on the maintenance operations evolutions to internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you will act as the prime interface for any questions from leadership regarding engine status and be accountable for raising critical items or help needed to the program team or leadership. Key responsibilities include: - Ensuring that decisions related to investigations or sick bays align with the commitments made in terms of Turnaround Time (TAT) and cost - Ensuring initial workscope and extensions are compliant with process and program guidelines - Acting as the industrial operations representative within the Customer Team and being the main interface between customers and the shop - Organizing Customer visits in the shop and validating that industrial gates are passed - Tracking invoicing delays and ensuring quality standard compliance in line with contract obligations - Driving risk analysis and associated mitigation plans for wing-to-wing maintenance operations - Driving engine maintenance costs to contribute to contract profitability optimization - Following up on commercial disputes and ensuring resolution with customers - Working on best practices based on lessons learned to allow quick and smooth hand-offs among several stakeholders Your required soft skills for this role: - Highly effective communication and project management skills - Strong organizational and time management skills - Computer Skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint - Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure to deliver targets on time - Cross-cultural experience and ability to work in different cultures with successful outcomes - Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and work under pressure with minimum supervision Qualifications required for this position: - Bachelor's Degree (BE / B.Tech in Mechanical / Aeronautical) Experience required for this role: - Minimum: 5 years in operations, engineering, or customer service in the Aerospace Industry on CFM56 / Leap engine - Preferred: 8+ years in operations, engineering, or customer service in MRO Aerospace Industry - Worked on CFM56 / Leap engines - Technical knowledge on aircraft engines,
