Job Description

Ø Detailed knowledge in Electrical AC/DC and HT AC motors

Ø Power Transformers condition monitoring and transformer protection system relays related knowledge and trouble shooting

Ø AC and DC drives Programming and troubleshooting

Ø Knowledge about HT structure VCB maintenance and operation 11/22/33Kv

Ø EOT crane maintenance

Ø Perform all daily maintenance on AC/DC drives, PLC, pumps , air compressors, conveyors, cooling tower, motors, and other electronic equipment to ensure optimum performance and utilization

Ø Troubleshoots and repairs pumps, blowers, drives, heaters, basic mechanic’s hand and power tools

Ø Installing conduit and wirings, motors, instrumentation, starters and temporary wiring setups

Ø Install motor starters, variable frequency drives, conduit and raceway systems

Ø Replaces fuses, light bulbs, circuit breakers, electric switches, and other electrical equipment

Ø Conducts inspections of electrical, mechanical and other equipment typical of a steel rolling mill industry

Ø Maintaining and repairing plant instrumentation

Ø Developing wiring diagrams as necessary

Ø Using precision instrumentation such as voltmeter, ammeter, megger, wattmeter

Ø Maintaining, repairing, testing and calibrating instrumentation and equipment of various types including flow meters, thermocouples, loop controllers, HMD sensor, PLC and process control and related networks

Ø Completing record and inventory of spares necessary to perform jobs

Ø Maintaining work tools

Ø May be need to initiate, lead and design small projects as directed

Ø Perform other related miscellaneous duties as required to maintain or improve plant reliability

Ø Perform electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic system inspections following established procedures and/or other written or verbal instructions

Ø Ability to troubleshoot basic pneumatic and mechanical drive systems at the component level on all assigned equipment

Ø Must regard safety as a core value

Ø 6 + years as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in TMT steel rolling mill industry

Ø Identifying and examining production equipment failures to understand root cause

Ø Repair, maintain and troubleshoot CNC equipment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
