Plant based position.

This role is responsible for ensuring workplace safety, environmental compliance, and health standards within an organization. This role involves identifying potential hazards, developing safety protocols, conducting training, and ensuring compliance with regulations. EHS professionals work to prevent injuries, illnesses, and environmental harm, protecting both employees and the environment.

Key responsibilities:

1. Ensuring Adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations and standards.

2. Identifying potential hazards in the workplace and assessing the associated risks.

3. Developing and implementing safety programs, procedures and training materials.

4. Investigating accidents and near misses to determine the root causes and implement corrective actions.

5. Maintaining accurate records of safety inspections, training, and incident investigations.

6. Conducting training sessions for employees on safety protocols and procedures.

7. Performing regular inspection of facilities, equipment and processes to ensure compliance.

8. Promoting sustainable practices of minimizing the environmental footprint of the organization.

9. Inspection of machines, lifting tools and other equipments to ensure the compliance and safe working.

10. Checking of firefighting and detection system to ensure the proper working.

11. Ensuring the safety induction of workers in co-ordination with Shop Floor Team.

Ideal candidate experience:

• Experience in Manufacturing Field: 7+Years (In that minimum 3+ yrs in Automobile industry).
• Must possess analytical skills, People Management skill, Task oriented.
• Exposure of OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001 and any other standards would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of environment regulation would be an added advantage.
