Job Description

Role & responsibilities - Ensure Material availability for smooth operations of production & meeting their demand ontime. - Sharing the forecast to the vendors & releasing PO on time. - Inventory management of respective commodity. - Work on Cost reduction projects & increase material productivity. - Good in Zero based costing, RM price tracking & negotiations with suppliers accordingly. - Ensure Tools & fixtures in place to achieve quality standards. - Work closely with Cross Functional teams in developing parts with right supplier starting from RFQ to contract sign off - Working along with Engineering in implementing technical changes & coordinating for commercial impact/savings Preferred candidate profile Education : B.E with 7 to 8 years of experience. Blr location or from competition (Compressor mfr) is preferred. Experience : Experience in Development & procurement of Casting & Machining Personal attributes : Good in Communication & Presentation skills. Must be flexible, adaptable and have the ability to work in a fast paced changing environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Global outlook and exposure to different challenges.
