Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager- NPD

Job Description

Role & responsibilities 1. Ensure timely delivery of new products and their prototypes. 2. Enhance the Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) processes for critical components of new products. 3. Improve the productionization process for new products before transitioning to production. 4. Implement productionization requirements such as SOP, Fixtures etc. for both existing / new critical components. 5. Manufacture new product parts essential for assembly, testing, and dispatch. 6. Manufacture fixture parts. 7. Promote process and employee improvements through kaizen initiatives. Preferred candidate profile Minimum 10 years, of experience in Crushing/Mining industry, heavy machinery Assembly, Testing, Dispatch & Service ( attending customer complaints) Ability to effectively influence / communicate with Internal customers / Support departments Proficiency & comfort with numbers / achieving Delivery commitment. Effective communication verbal, written and Presentation & Analytical skills SAP (ERP) Exposure Shop floor workers Management Effective Utilization, 5S and Safety practices Computer Proficiency Excel, Power point etc. Understanding the Parts Manufacturing and Equipment Assembly drawings , Problem solving in Fabrication processes.
