Assistant Manager, Chief Accounting & Capital Office

What will your essential responsibilities include?

• Perform/ provide support in the XL Bermuda Solvency reporting mainly on: Data Extraction and analysis from EFR, HFM and other group tools. Prepare working files for Balance Sheet and other supporting processes. Update existing process documentation and prepare additional documentation as needed. Preparing analysis/reports and reconciliations on various ad-hoc requests as and when requested. Arrange required supporting/details as part of Q&A/Audit /Internal controls if required.
• Transversal Project/Initiatives: Support team in system enhancement UATs as and when necessary. Identify and analyze potential process improvement opportunities within and between finance disciplines.

You will report to Senior Manager Chief Accounting and Capital Office.

What you will BRING

Were looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

Required Skills and Abilities:

• CA/ CPA with relevant years of experience or MBA Finance/Commerce Graduate with relevant years of statutory reporting, having grasp of overall Financial Statements and Insurance concepts.
• Robust analytical skills and attention to details
• Good Technical knowledge IT skills (MS Office, VBA, Power BI etc.)

Desired Skills and Abilities:

• Work experience in Big 4/consultancy MNCs or international insurance companies
• Advance skills of preparing analytical and business presentations.
• Experience in working in multicultural environments, and with different company departments (finance, investments, risk,...)

• Ability to work resiliently in a fast-paced environment.
