Assistant Manager Automation & Digitization

As an Assistant Manager in Automation & Digitization, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers to deliver high-quality Industrial Automation and Digitization solutions. Your role will involve combining technical expertise, leadership skills, and project management experience to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of PLC, SCADA, HMI, and IIoT solutions across multiple projects. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead and mentor a team of automation engineers, guiding them in PLC, SCADA/HMI, and IIoT development. - Foster a culture of continuous learning through workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. - Drive team building activities to hire, onboard, and nurture talent. - Develop structured training modules, conduct training sessions, and uplift the team's technical and functional capabilities. - Plan, allocate, and monitor project tasks to ensure timely and quality delivery. - Review technical designs, control narratives, logic specifications, and development standards to ensure adherence to best practices. - Track project timelines and milestones, addressing risks or delays proactively. - Oversee design, development, and testing of PLC programs, SCADA/HMI applications, and IIoT solutions. - Provide technical guidance for complex automation challenges and ensure robust testing before commissioning. - Ensure comprehensive technical documentation for all projects and enforce coding standards and best practices. **Qualifications:** - Education: B.Tech/BE in Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or Electronics. - Experience: 7+ years in industrial automation with expertise in PLC, SCADA/HMI development, and commissioning. - Skills: Proficient in programming, configuration, and troubleshooting of PLC, SCADA, and HMIs from various OEMs. Skilled in programming languages such as STL, FBD, Ladder, and scripting languages. Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols, control system architecture, and diagrams. Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
