Job Description

Lead MEP is primarily to support of the running of all cluster schools by resolving breakdowns and by delivering maintenance. Secondly, they are also required to drive improvement across the site in terms of machinery, hygiene, quality, performance, and Schools Operations. JOB DESCRIPTIONS: Key Responsibilities: Responsible for monitoring of maintenance - Breakdowns and Repairs & Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Responsible for monitoring of B.O.Q, vendor evaluation & scope of work for schools. Responsible for monitoring of Monthly electrical consumption, water consumption, Diesel consumption & take corrective action to ensure its within the approved budget. Responsible for on job trainings to Lead Facilities & MSTs for ensuring laid down SOPs are followed for equipment maintenance. Responsible to ensure critical equipments AMCs renewal related follow ups with schools and ensuring timely renewal of AMCs. Responsible for monitoring daily MIS reports (Consist of consumptions Elec., water, diesel, spares used and shared by Schools. Responsible for making monthly site progress & status reports for Engineering function. Responsible for conducting Audits and working in Noncompliance. Responsible for monitoring reactive and proactive maintenance work, whilst making sure it is carried out to the highest possible standards across the whole site. Ensures yearly inspection of all firefighting, lift, DG etc. are carried out as per schedule. Ensure work orders and service orders shared by schools are validated Liaise effectively with external contractors. Experience Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in facility/hospitality management operation & maintenance environment. Experience in education, hospital, hotels & malls sector or any other service sector shall be preferred. Diploma / ITC / NTC in Electrical / Mechanical /or Building Certificate from a recognized training Institute.
