- Overall Responsible for lead mechanical activities for project work.
- Responsible for comprehensive project planning and scheduling for all mechanical initiatives, ensuring timely execution and achievement of critical milestones.
- Responsible for the preparation, review, and finalization of detailed engineering designs for HVAC, comprehensive utility systems (e.g., compressed air, Boiler, chilled water, hot water system), and water systems (e.g., Water pretreatment plant, Generation & Distribution of purified water, Generation & Distribution of WFI, Generation & Distribution of pure steam).
- Responsible for finalization of design basis documents, system architecture, instrument lists, and I/O summaries for Building Management Systems (BMS) and Environment Monitoring Systems (EMS).
- Responsible for the preparation, review, and finalization of critical technical documents, including concept notes, conceptual drawings, and User Requirement Specifications (URS) for HVAC, Utility, and Water systems, in close coordination with external consultants and cross-functional departments.
- Responsible for the preparation, review, and finalization of Bills of Quantity (BOQ) and Tender documents for all HVAC, Utility, Water, BMS, and EMS systems.
- Responsible for the preparation, review, evaluation, and technical assessment of vendors for HVAC, Utility, Water, BMS, and EMS systems. This includes the preparation and finalization of comprehensive technical comparison sheets to support informed equipment and system selection.
- Responsible for supervision and monitoring of day-to-day site activities, ensuring stringent adherence to quality, cGMP regulations, and safety norms. Proactively engage in troubleshooting and resolution of on-site mechanical challenges.
- Responsible for the preparation, review, and timely finalization of General Arrangement (GA) drawings, P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams), PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams), and all associated execution drawings.
- Responsible for the delivery of high-quality work output from all engaged vendors and consultants, meeting project specifications and timelines.
- Conduct thorough review and finalization of joint measurement records, and be responsible for the accurate verification and approval of vendor bills.
- Coordinate effectively with government authorities for all necessary liaisoning work and the acquisition of required project approvals.
- Responsible for the installation and commissioning of utility equipment, including but not limited to boilers, chillers, cooling towers, hot water systems, and air compressors. Also responsible for the installation and commissioning of low-side HVAC systems.
- Responsible for the qualification and validation of HVAC systems in line with regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for the installation and commissioning of water pretreatment plants, purified water generation & distribution systems, WFI (Water for Injection) generation & distribution systems, and pure steam generation & distribution systems.
- Responsible for the thorough qualification and validation of all clean utilities/water systems.
- Proactively identify and implement areas for improvement during equipment selection and installation activities to optimize system performance and efficiency.
- Foster and maintain strong coordination with Cross-Functional Teams (CFTs) for seamless day-to-day operations and project integration.
- Delegate tasks effectively, considering individual strengths, development goals, and overall project requirements to optimize team efficiency and individual growth.
- Lead and participate in team-building activities, foster open communication, and act as a mentor and resource to help subordinates overcome challenges, ensuring a high-performing work environment.
- Proactively identify and resolve workflow bottlenecks and resource issues to maintain optimal productivity, while simultaneously encouraging innovative problem-solving and ownership among team members.
