Key Responsibilities

• Develop MLT domain content as per the university curriculum under the guidance of the Head of Academics, PW IOI SOH.
• Deliver engaging lectures, presentations, and laboratory sessions on subjects such as Microbiology, Pathology, Routine & Special Lab Techniques, Histology, Serology, and Infection Control.
• Design and administer assessments (quizzes, exams, and practical evaluations) to monitor student progress.
• Provide academic guidance, mentoring, and professional development support to students.
• Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in the medical laboratory field and integrate them into the curriculum.
• Collaborate with the Academic Director, Program Manager, and fellow faculty to enhance program quality and relevance.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and grades.
• Assist in the procurement of laboratory equipment, reagents, and supplies.
• Participate in faculty meetings, training sessions, and community outreach initiatives.
• Support senior faculty in delivering academic duties.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Medical Sciences, or related fields.
• Minimum

  12 years

  of clinical experience and

  23 years

  of teaching experience in MLT or similar programs.
• Strong knowledge of medical lab operations, Pathology, Microbiology, Histology, Serology, and quality control practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create and deliver effective lesson plans and hands-on laboratory exercises.
• Proficiency in using automatic, semi-automatic, and manual medical lab equipment, troubleshooting, and related software.
• Experience in curriculum development and assessment will be an advantage.
