Halol, Gujarat, India Department Manufacturing_Manufacturing Job posted on May 23, 2025 Employment type STAFF Job Description: Responsibilities: Assist in planning and coordinating production activities in the cable manufacturing plant to meet production targets. Work closely with the cross-functional teams to ensure efficient utilization of resources and adherence to production schedules. Monitor production processes and equipment performance to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to investigate and address any product non-conformities or customer complaints. Assist in the selection and procurement of machinery, equipment, and materials necessary for cable manufacturing operations. Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Prepare production reports, documentation, and work instructions to maintain accurate records and facilitate knowledge transfer. Provide training and guidance to production staff on operating procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards. Perform routine maintenance tasks on production equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate with maintenance technicians to execute repairs in a timely manner. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failures and prolong asset lifespan. Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumables necessary for maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all maintenance operations. Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in maintenance engineering. Advantage – Knowledge of Electron Beam process Knowledge of IATF 16949, IRIS 22163, as 9100D, EMS 14001, 45001, ERP knowledge Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Certification (RSO/ Operator) from AERB,Mumbai Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Knowledge of cable manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies. Prior internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing setting, particularly in the cable industry, is advantageous but not required.
