Assistant Engineer - Electrical

Responsibilities

Prepare and revise electrical schematics, SLDs, wiring diagrams, street light drawingsand layout drawings in compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

• Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements and
  

incorporate their feedback into design revisions.

• Ensure accuracy and maintain organised documentation of all drawings and design
  
  
  

changes.

• Assist in coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure proper integration of
  
  
  

electrical components within broader project designs.

• Conduct quality checks on drawings and designs to verify adherence to company and
  
  
  

regulatory standards.

• Provide support for project management tasks, including timelines, resource
  
  
  

allocation, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree/Diploma in Drafting, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or a related
  

field, or equivalent experience.

• Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, MicroStation or related CAD tools
  
  
  

specifically for electrical applications.

• Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and practices relevant to design and
  
  
  

drafting.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical information clearly.
