Key Responsibilities

• Site Execution & Supervision:

  Oversee and manage day-to-day civil construction activities on-site, ensuring work proceeds according to project schedules and specifications.

• Quality Assurance & Control:

  Enforce strict adherence to approved drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards. Conduct regular inspections and material testing (e.g., concrete cube testing, soil compaction tests) to ensure compliance.

• Drawing Interpretation:

  Read and interpret construction drawings, including General Arrangement (GA) drawings, structural steel drawings, and reinforcement details.

• Coordination:

  Liaise effectively with the Project Manager, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth execution of work.

• Quantity Surveying & Billing:

  Assist in quantity estimation, preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and verification of contractor's Running Account (RA) bills.

• Progress Reporting:

  Prepare and maintain accurate site records, including Daily Progress Reports (DPR), measurement books (MB), and pour cards.

• Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):

  Implement and enforce site safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel, adhering to all company and statutory HSE regulations.

• Resource Management:

  Monitor the utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials to ensure optimal productivity and minimize wastage.

• Problem Solving:

  Proactively identify potential construction issues and collaborate with the engineering team to find practical and timely solutions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Diploma Civil/

  B.E. / B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

• Experience:

  A minimum of 3 to 6 years of proven experience in civil construction, with a significant focus on

  industrial projects

  such as manufacturing plants, warehouses, process plants, power plants, pharmaceutical facilities, or large-scale factories.
