Assistant Electrical/Electrical Engineer (Dry Utilities)

As a Design Engineer at Mott MacDonald, you will be responsible for designing Electrical Distribution Systems for Low Voltage and High Voltage systems based on International standards for regions like Middle East, Europe, and South East Asia. Your key responsibilities will include: - Conceptualizing, Front End Engineering Design (FEED), and Detail Design of Electrical Distribution Systems - Demonstrating a strong understanding and working knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes including Pumping Stations, Desalination, and Sewage Treatment Plants - Collaborating with global multi-disciplinary teams on Water and Waste Water projects - Generating design documents like Design Basis, Load list, Cable schedule, Single Line Diagrams, and schematics - Performing Equipment sizing calculations and lighting calculations using software like Dialux - Conducting System Studies using software like ETAP, SKM, or Amtech for load flow, short circuit, and motor starting studies - Preparing technical specifications and data sheets for Electrical Equipment - Reviewing vendor drawings and technical offers, and preparing Bid tabulation/documentation - Coordinating with various engineering disciplines and external consultants for project execution To qualify for this role, you should have: - A degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience - Experience in Electrical design for large infrastructure projects in a consultancy organization - Proficiency in Electrical design software like Dialux and ETAP - Computer literacy in MS Office and familiarity with AUTOCAD - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Self-motivation and a keen interest in learning new skills This permanent position is based in Bangalore, Noida, and Mumbai, offering flexible working arrangements.
