Assistant Director of Sales

As an Assistant Sales Manager at our property, your role involves assisting in leading the segmented sales effort and implementing the segment sales strategy to achieve revenue goals and guest satisfaction. Your focus will be on building long-term customer relationships to meet property sales objectives while achieving personal booking goals. Key Responsibilities: - Work with sales leader to understand and effectively implement the sales strategy for the segment - Develop and sustain an aggressive solicitation program to increase business - Create and implement a sales plan addressing revenue, customers, and the market for the segment - Assist in the development and execution of promotions, both internal and external - Provide positive leadership to ensure maximum revenue potential and recommend booking goals for the sales team - Participate in sales calls to acquire new business and support operational aspects of booked business - Analyze market information, implement strategies, and review sales data to achieve financial goals Qualifications Required: - 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 3 years of sales and marketing experience; OR - 4-year bachelor's degree in the same majors with 1 year of experience in sales and marketing - Strong understanding of customer service and ability to build successful relationships with key stakeholders - Compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and/or union requirements At Marriott International, we value diversity and are committed to providing equal opportunities to all our associates.
